Born in the 1950s, Jesus Ortiz spent much of his life dedicated to his family and community. A graduate of Julia Richman High School in New York City, he quickly became known for his hardworking nature and entrepreneurial spirit. As a self-employed owner-operator, Jesus demonstrated an incredible work ethic that served as a model to all who knew him. His family often remarked on his relentless drive and commitment to providing for his loved ones, ensuring that they were always cared for and supported.

Jesus, or “Pupi” as he was lovingly called, was not only a provider, but a nurturer of souls. He was the heart and soul of his family, always placing them above all else.
