ATLANTA, Ga. — A tragic active shooter incident unfolded on the campus of Emory University, resulting in the death of a DeKalb County police officer Authorities confirmed that the officer was fatally wounded while confronting the suspect. Despite being rushed to Emory University Hospital, the officer was pronounced dead at 5:48 p.m.
