Spread the love

Midland, TX — The West Texas community is mourning the heartbreaking and sudden loss of Justin Leslie Sebree, a devoted family man, Greenwood High School alumnus, and respected resident of Midland. Justin passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at the age of 37, leaving behind a legacy of love, family devotion, and enduring friendship.

Born on November 29, 1987, and raised in Greenwood, Texas, Justin lived a life marked by commitment to his family and a strong connection to his roots. Friends describe him as someone who never met a stranger, always eager to help others, and consistently placing his wife and children at the center of his life.

Justin was the beloved husband of Samantha Buck-Sebree, with whom he shared a deeply committed marriage. Together, they built a life grounded in love, respect, and laughter—raising three young children in Midland, where they were active in the local school and church communities. His role as a father defined him. From school drop-offs and baseball practice to bedtime stories and Sunday cookouts, Justin embraced fatherhood wholeheartedly, offering his children unconditional love and constant support.

He was also a proud graduate of Greenwood High School, where he was known for his warm smile, quick wit, and loyal friendships. Former classmates recall Justin’s ability to lift others up, his humble nature, and his lasting impact on those who crossed his path. Though he never sought attention, his presence was grounding, consistent, and full of quiet strength.

Following the devastating news of his passing, an outpouring of community support has flooded the Sebree family’s circle. A Meal Train has been organized on behalf of Samantha and their children, allowing neighbors, friends, and colleagues to ease the family’s burden during this difficult time. The Meal Train effort, rapidly shared across social media, reflects how deeply Justin and his family are embedded in the hearts of those around them.

“We are devastated,” one close friend shared in a Meal Train comment. “Justin was the kind of man everyone respected. The kind of father others admired. He gave everything to his family, and now it’s our turn to give back to them.”

The Sebree family’s grief is shared by a wide circle of friends, coworkers, and fellow Greenwood and Midland residents. His death has left a void not just in the lives of his loved ones, but across the greater community that admired his dedication, sincerity, and compassion.

In addition to his wife and children, Justin is survived by a large extended family, many lifelong friends, and a tight-knit support network that is determined to carry his legacy forward. Funeral and memorial arrangements are expected to be announced in the coming days. In the meantime, the community continues to gather around the Sebrees with donations, meals, prayers, and unwavering love.

Justin Sebree will be remembered as a husband who loved with depth, a father who gave generously of his time and heart, and a man who enriched every life he touched with quiet integrity and selfless devotion. Though gone far too soon, his spirit endures in the family he cherished, the community he served, and the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.  A Meal Train has been created on behalf of his family.
